Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance
As the State Administering Agency for federal justice and homeland security grant funds, the Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance develops statewide strategies, determines funding priorities, and advises Governor Doyle on public safety and domestic preparedness policy.
Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Prevention
The Brighter Futures Initiative (BFI) helps Wisconsin's children, adolescents, and families achieve their maximum potential by promoting: healthy families and youth, school readiness for children, child safety in their families and communities, and successful navigation from childhood to adulthood.

- National Tribal Justice Resource Center
The National Tribal Justice Resource Center is the largest and most comprehensive site dedicated to tribal justice systems, personnel and tribal law. The Resource Center is the central national clearinghouse of information for Native American and Alaska Native tribal courts, providing both technical assisstance and resources for the development and enhancement of tribal justice system personnel. Programs and services developed by the Resource Center are offered to all tribal justice system personnel -- whether working with formalized tribal courts or with tradition-based tribal dispute resolution forums.

- METH Awareness And Prevention Project of South Dakota (MAPP-SD)
MAPP-SD, a project of Prairie View Prevention Services, Inc., is a comprehensive Methamphetamine awareness and prevention project.
MAPP-SD is dedicated to:
u Increase awareness of Meth and the problems associated with its use, manufacture and distribution;

A calendar of our activities is accessible to aid the reader in locating tribal justice and safety related events.

- Federal Bureau of Investigation - Indian Country Crime
The FBI has criminal jurisdiction in "Indian Country" (the official name for the program) for major crimes under the "Indian Country" Crimes Act (Title 18, United States Code, Section 1152), the Indian Country Major Crimes Act (Title 18, United States Code, Section 1153), and the Assimilative Crimes Act (Title 18, United States Code, Section 13). The 1994 Crime Act expanded federal criminal jurisdiction in Indian Country in such areas as guns, violent juveniles, drugs, and domestic violence. Under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, the FBI has jurisdiction over any criminal act directly related to casino gaming. The FBI also investigates civil rights violations, environmental crimes, public corruption, and government fraud occurring in "Indian Country."
